Losey, Tammy 
Pastor Tammy Losey is a church planter in Henderson, Nevada, working with two male self-supporting pastors. They have established the Living Water Fellowship. Besides the information below, you might want to visit their web site: www.bringone.org. Pastor Tammy reports:
At the southern end of the Las Vegas Valley in the state of Nevada is the community of Henderson - one of the fastest growing large cities in the country. It is the second largest city within Nevada, by-passing Reno in 1999. By the end of 2005 it is estimated that the population in Henderson will reach almost 250,000. Because this area was an open field where no Seventh-day Adventist Church was present, in January of 2004 a proposal was submitted, a vision was cast, and a hope was cherished in faith for a new church to be planted.
From its inception this new church has been bathed in miracles - miracles orchestrated and designed by God. Divine providence opened the door - an evangelist donated a Prophesy Seminar, private funds were pledged for a pastor's salary for the first two years, the Nevada-Utah Conference provided encouragement, a small group of people devoted themselves to the project. The core group began to form in May of 2004 - the prayers of many laying the foundation of total dependence on God for leadership and guidance.
Living Water, A Seventh-day Adventist Fellowship in Christ, was officially launched as core members and friends celebrated the first public worship service on Sabbath, August 7th, 2004, dedicating the church to God. With the air of excitement and expectancy the Prophesy Series began the next week. On September 2nd the power of God's word was celebrated as forty-seven new friends joined the fellowship of Living Water, devoting themselves to following Jesus and His Word. At the baptism everyone gave praise and glory to the Lord! Since that time our church has continued to grow and develop under God's guidance.

From week to week Living Water has almost one hundred friends that gather to worship God. The next big challenge? Living Water is looking for a church home! Under inspiration Ellen White in a letter wrote, "In every city where the truth is proclaimed, churches are to be raised up. In some large cities there must be churches in various parts of the city. In some places, meetinghouses will be offered for sale at reasonable rates, which can be purchased advantageously.-- Letter 168, 1909. Pray that God will direct this new group of believers to the property that will empower them to extend God's work and hasten Jesus' return.
