Wellington-Hamil, Florence 
Florence Wellington-Hamil writes to say that she is currently in Jamaica after being persuaded to stay for the winter semester with the International University of the Caribbean, a fledgling Christian University which was officially launched on Thanksgiving Day 2005.
For several years, Wellington-Hamil has been working with financial empowerment groups for women, especially students, in Michigan and Jamaica. Toward this end, she has developed the organizations Student Enterprise and Empowerment Network (SEEN-USA) and Seed Enterprise and Employment Network (SEEN-JA).
She is planning to return to New York to pursue a program in Hospital Chaplainry at Albany Hospital.
